This opportunity is for the weekly supply and delivery of commercial-grade dry ice to support laboratory operations for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Human Foods Program (HFP) - Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS) - Products/Services Requested: - Commercial-grade dry ice in two forms: pellets and bagged blocks - Estimated 1,550 pounds per week (80,600 pounds annually) - Delivered to three FDA laboratory locations (MOD-1, Wiley Building, University Station) - Specific weekly quantities: - 770 lbs pellets (MOD-1) - 550 lbs pellets (Wiley Building) - 230 lbs bagged blocks (University Station) - Recurring weekly delivery service (52 weeks per year) - All personnel, supervision, management, materials, transportation, and equipment required for delivery - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FDA facility security requirements - Timely delivery on Wednesdays during normal Federal business hours (or next business day if closed) - Accurate quantity delivery and proper documentation - Delivery must begin within 10 business days after award - Small business set-aside under NAICS code 325120 - Contract includes a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods (potentially up to 5 years) - No specific OEMs or brands are named; commercial dry ice suppliers are eligible.

Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS), requires weekly delivery of dry ice to support laboratory testing, scientific research, regulatory activities, and other mission-critical laboratory operations across multiple HFP offices.
