The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge are seeking a qualified financial institution to provide comprehensive banking services for municipal operations from 2027 to 2031. - Government Buyer: - City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge, Purchasing Division - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified banks and financial institutions - Products/Services Requested: - Account maintenance for approximately 45 accounts (demand deposit, zero balance, payroll, etc.) - Processing of 4,000 checks/month and 1,000 juror/witness fee checks/month - ACH disbursements (8,775/month) and receipts (1,100/month) - Debit block and ACH authorized ID maintenance - Account reconciliation and positive pay services - Deposits: 5,500 branch credits/month, $5M in coin/cash, 5,000 local and 14,000 transit checks/month - Remote deposit capture (6 scanners) - Tamper-evident bags (375 regular, 130 heavy-duty/month) - Stop payments, returned checks, wire transfers (incoming, outgoing, book, bank-initiated) - Safekeeping and collateral pricing for government securities - Online data communications for 45 accounts - Credit card processing (over 417,000 transactions/month) and equipment rental (14 units) - Direct deposit return handling and notifications - Lockbox services for EMS payments, including check processing, MICR capture, document storage, courier/package handling, and deposit preparation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - High transaction volumes across multiple banking functions - Compliance with federal/state laws, insurance, and community reinvestment standards - Web-based account access and robust online transaction capabilities - Safekeeping and collateralization of public funds - Lockbox and credit card processing for diverse municipal departments
