The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is seeking a contractor to supply, deliver, and install a new courtesy dock at Poe’s Ridge Boat Ramp in Moncure, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District (B. Everett Jordan Dam and Lake) - Products and Services Requested: - One (1) ADA-compliant courtesy dock gangway (4 feet wide x 40 feet long) with skid-resistant aluminum decking and continuous handrails - One (1) courtesy dock (minimum 224 sq ft, at least 12 feet wide x 20 feet long) with marine-grade aluminum frame, skid-resistant aluminum decking, and pre-molded high-density polyethylene flotation units - Eight (8) aluminum or stainless-steel cleats, continuous rubrail with bumpers, and cable/winch anchoring system (2000 lbs capacity winches, 5/16" Type 316 stainless steel cables) - Installation service including all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Dock must be fully ADA-compliant - Dock must support a 40 psf live load - All hardware must be Type 316 stainless steel - One-year warranty on workmanship and materials; five-year warranty on flotation and decking - Work must commence within 30 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 90 days - No specific OEMs or brands are specified; technical requirements focus on materials, dimensions, and compliance standards
