The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) is seeking bids for comprehensive roof replacement and rehabilitation at Jones Gardens and 28 scattered site residential buildings in Las Vegas, NV. - Government Buyer: - Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA), Procurement and Contracts Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Prominent OEMs specified: Owens Corning, CertainTeed, GAF, Garland DBS Inc. - Any manufacturer meeting ASTM standards is eligible - Products Requested: - Architectural asphalt shingles (UL Class A, high wind resistance, glass fiber mat base, mineral surface) - Color and finish to be selected by SNRHA - Moisture-shedding underlayment (self-adhering, ASTM 1970, min 55 mils) - Metal flashing and coping (24 gauge, Kynar coated aluminum or equivalent) - Drip edge metal, gutters, downspouts, ridge vents or slant back vents - Nails (zinc coated steel or aluminum, 10-12 gauge), plastic cement (ASTM D4586), step flashing, lead boots - Wood deck replacement (800 sq ft), wood fascia replacement (1000 linear ft) - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing roof systems - Installation of new roofing systems including all specified materials and accessories - Complete rehabilitation of roofing systems for all listed buildings - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Factory-certified steep-slope roofing contractors required - All shingles must have a UL Class A rating and high wind resistance label - 30-year manufacturer warranty and 3-year contractor warranty - Compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates and Section 3 employment requirements - Liquidated damages of $200 per day per house for delays - Licensed general contractor required; adherence to local codes and safety standards - Supplier diversity encouraged; insurance and licensing documentation required - Separate pricing required for each building; total bid amount for all sites - Addresses and roof areas provided in bid documents - Project Scope: - Roof replacement for 17 Jones Garden buildings and 28 scattered site homes - All labor, materials, equipment, permits, and miscellaneous items included - Project completion expected within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed - Federally funded project

Description

This solicitation is an Invitation for Bid issued by the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority for roof replacement at 30 scattered sites including Jones Garden buildings.
