DESCRIPTION: This notice is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a  request for quotations. No responses are requested at this time. The U.S.  Embassy in Turkmenistan, intends to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) No.  PR16190698 Swimming Pool Maintenance and Water Treatment Means via the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) when it is available. All  responsible sources may submit a quotation once the RFQ is released.

The United States Embassy Ashgabat, Turkmenistan requires Contractor to  perform maintenance and repair work of one swimming pool. The Contractor shall  provide the outdoor type swimming pool full maintenance for the active swimming  pool season as well as partial maintenance during the off-season and swimming  pool winterization period. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract/purchase order awarded  to the lowest-priced technically acceptable responsible offeror. The Government  may award the contract based on initial quotations without discussion.  Important Notice: All contractors must be registered and maintain an active registration in the System  for Award Management (SAM.gov) with a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)  prior to contract award, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. There is no fee to  register for SAM.gov.
