NIST's Time and Frequency Division is seeking to procure advanced multi-channel time interval measurement systems for precision timing applications. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), PML/Time and Frequency Division (688), Time Realization and Distribution (688.40) - Products/Services Requested: - Four (4) multi-channel time interval meters - Each device must measure time intervals on at least 15 independent input channels (or 16 total if measured against a common timebase) - Single-shot measurement resolution or jitter less than 20 picoseconds - 50 Ohm DC-coupled inputs, triggers on rising edges of 1.0 V pulses - Accepts 10 MHz frequency reference input - Digital/data interface via Ethernet or USB - Compatible with 19-inch equipment rack (width < 482.6 mm) - Power input supports 120V or 208V AC or DC - Delivery Requirements: - 2 units to Boulder, CO; 2 units to Gaithersburg, MD - Delivery, installation, and training to be completed within 12-18 weeks after order - Notable Requirements: - Devices must support high-precision timing with low jitter (<20 ps) - Must be suitable for integration into existing laboratory rack systems - Procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS 334516 - Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis
