Description
The Lower Reedy WWRF Streambank Stabilization project involves restoration and stabilization of an eroded streambank section along the Reedy River adjacent to sanitary sewer infrastructure. The work includes removal of existing structures and debris, installation of approximately 194 linear feet of boulder toe wall and two in-stream boulder vanes, grading and restoration of the washed-out bank, and implementation of sediment and erosion control measures. Disturbed areas and newly constructed slopes will be revegetated to provide final stabilization and reduce future erosion potential. The project is currently in the bidding stage with a pre-bid meeting scheduled.
