Description

This solicitation is for the protection and conservation of the 1913 heritage designated Rumpel Felt building, chimney, and 1942 staircase, along with the demolition of the additions at 60 Victoria St. N, Kitchener. The work includes abatement of designated substances and hazardous materials, shoring/bracing, salvage and reuse of existing chimney brick, disconnection and modifications of MEP and sprinkler systems, utility disconnections, and installation of new steel siding. The contractor must coordinate and implement all permit requirements and provide plans, designs, third-party inspections, testing, certification, and reports in accordance with Metrolinx, City of Kitchener, Region of Waterloo, and utility providers.
