The City of Davenport, Iowa is seeking bids for a multi-year contract to provide vacant building board-up and graffiti removal services. - Government Buyer: - City of Davenport, Iowa - Neighborhood Services, Police and Fire Board Up; Purchasing Division - Products/Services Requested: - Boarding up vacant building openings (windows, doors, garage doors, bay windows, foundation windows) using 1/2" CDX plywood - Includes painting plywood to match the building and debris removal - Pricing requested per type of opening (single/double window, single/double door, bay window, foundation window, garage doors) - Surcharges for boarding up on 2nd or 3rd stories - Emergency response surcharges: - 24-hour response for general emergencies - 2-hour response for police/fire emergencies - Removal of small structures (fencing, sheds, railings, platforms, etc.) at an hourly rate - Graffiti removal and cover-up at an hourly rate - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Emergency response capability (within 24 hours or 2 hours for police/fire) - All work must comply with detailed technical specifications - Vendors must provide insurance and complete a bidder status form - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are required; opportunity is open to all qualified service providers - No OEMs or named vendors are specified in the solicitation - Bids must be submitted electronically through the city's e-bidding system
