Description

The Department is conducting market research to understand the capabilities of organizations that can provide independent medical frailty determination services for Medicaid members requesting a specified exclusion based on medical frailty from Medicaid Community Engagement requirements. This is to comply with newly enacted federal requirements under H.R.1. Vendors should be familiar with Public Law 119-21, CMS-2454-IFC, and 42 CFR Part 435 regarding community engagement, specified exclusions, verification, program integrity, and medical frailty determinations. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not accepted through the VSS system and are for market research purposes only.
