Lakeland Electric is seeking proposals from qualified and reputable non-destructive examination (NDE) contractors to provide as-needed NDE services for critical power plant equipment and components under an annual time-and-materials agreement. Services may be performed during both online operations and scheduled or forced outages at various OWNER facilities including McIntosh Power Plant, Larsen Power Plant, and Winston Peaking Station in Lakeland, FL. The contract term is from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewal options, for a maximum duration of five years. The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) with electronic submissions due by August 28, 2026.
