USAGM Solicitation for Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Services at Kuwait Transmitting Station

• The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), Office of Contracts, is seeking proposals for landscaping and grounds maintenance services at the George A. Moore Jr. Kuwait Transmitting Station.
• The contract covers comprehensive landscaping tasks, including:
  • Lawn care, pruning, irrigation inspection and minor repairs, watering, fertilization, weeding, pest and disease control, debris removal, indoor plant care, and perimeter ditch and berm maintenance.
• The contract structure includes:
  • A base period of 12 months and four 12-month option years, for a total potential duration of 5 years.
  • Each year includes 12 months of standard landscaping services and a major repair and replacement work task with a not-to-exceed (NTE) amount of $10,000 per year.
• Major repair and replacement work is as-needed and includes materials, with a strict annual NTE budget.
• The contractor must comply with local laws, security, and labor standards in Kuwait.
• No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or named vendors are referenced; the procurement is for commercial landscaping services.

Description

This is a combined solicitation for commerical services prepared in accordance with the format in Seubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information, utilizing FAR 13 acquisition procedures, including in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and no other request for proposals will be issued.  This solicitation sets forth requirements for proposals for a contract to provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).  Futher details regarding this solicitation shall be found in the solicitation attachments.
