This opportunity is for the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of up to 175 flightline 150 lb. Halon 1211 fire extinguishers at Luke Air Force Base, managed by the U.S. Air Force 56th Maintenance Group. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 56th Maintenance Group, Luke Air Force Base - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; services must comply with NFPA 10, Technical Order 13F4-4-121, and manufacturer recommendations - Products/Services Requested: - Inspection, maintenance, and repair of up to 175 flightline 150 lb. Halon 1211 fire extinguishers - Annual inspection (primarily by government; contractor signs off on repaired units) - 6-year maintenance (including overhaul and replacement of consumable/minor parts) - 12-year hydrostatic testing (with labeling and disposition of failed units) - Emergency repair/recharge within five days of notification - Reimbursement for parts and materials at market prices - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide certified personnel experienced with 150 lb. Halon extinguishers - All work must comply with NFPA 10, Technical Order 13F4-4-121, and manufacturer's specifications - Emergency repairs must be completed within five days - Detailed maintenance reports required within one week of service completion - The government supplies Halon 1211 agent and a work area - Contract is Firm-Fixed Price with a base year and three option years, plus a possible six-month extension - Funds are not currently available; no award will be made until funds are secured - The government may cancel the solicitation at any time without obligation to reimburse offerors

Description

Luke AFB is seeking a vendor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and labor necessary to inspect, maintain and service all (up to 175) 56 MXG flightline wheeled Halon 1211 fire extinguishers on Luke AFB in accordance with the statement of work.  The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price base year plus three (3) option-year contract.

 When submitting quotes please include all applicable costs. Please read all evaluation instructions listed in FAR clause 52.212-2.  Be advised this requirement is set aside as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. 

All questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted to Velma Wynn @velma.wynn.1@us.af.mil and Kristie Canterbury @ kristie.canterbury.2@us.af.mil, no later than 17 August 2026 by 9:00 AM MST(Arizona Time)/12:00 PM EST. Questions submitted past this deadline may not be considered for response. Questions MUST only be sent to the point of contacts listed. Questions submitted to anyone other than the POC's will not be reviewed or answered. Questions will be answered as soon as possible, and all questions and answers will be posted to this solicitation so that all potential offers are afforded the answers.

Funds are not presently available for this eff ort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
