Description

The 460th Civil Engineering Squadron requires a qualified contractor to handle a recovery project for three (3) 200-ton Daikin air-cooled chillers, specifically Model AWV014AFFNGGN00 located on Buckley SFB. Since their installation in 2018, these units have been running on beta software, so the primary task is to update them to the latest stable manufacturer release. In addition, the contractor shall calibrate the sensors, integrate the chillers with the existing Building Automation System, and specifically diagnose and repair a known compressor degradation issue on all three units. This isn't a standard recurring maintenance contract; it is a one-time corrective requirement designed to fix lingering issues from the original installation and get the units safely recommissioned. The service shall be completed within 30 days after receipt of award.

This requirement needs to be accomplished and fully certified under (Unified Facilities Criteria) UFC 3-410-01: Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Systems. A contractor possessing the software tools, licensing, and diagnostic equipment to flash the firmware and troubleshoot the compressor without voiding existing equipment warranties is required.
