SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operated by Stanford University for the U.S. Department of Energy, is soliciting proposals for high-capacity HPE server hardware and associated support services. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) - SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (operated by Stanford University) - OEM Highlight: - Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is the specified and only OEM - Products/Services Requested: - 19 units of HPE A4140 84x20TB Node servers - Each server includes a 5-year Technology Care Essentials (TCE) service - Part number: HPE A4140 84x20TB Node 5YR TCE - Notable Requirements: - All servers must be sourced as U.S. domestic end items - Delivery of all units and services is required by the specified deadline - Detailed server configurations and requirements are provided in the RFP attachments - Vendors must review and respond according to the attached RFP documentation

Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory invites interested vendors to submit a proposal in accordance with teh attached RFP preparation requirements for HPE Servers. Your full proposal must be received no later than Friday, August 12th, 5pm PDT.

SLAC has a requirement for a U.S. domestic end item source of the following:
