This procurement supports the Air Force's Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance at Dyess AFB with a brand name only requirement for Snap-on Professional-Grade Mechanic's Tool Kits and tool control systems. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, FA4661 7 CONS CD, Dyess AFB, Texas - Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM): - Snap-on (all tools and tool control systems must be Snap-on brand) - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive assortment of Snap-on hand tools and accessories, including: - Tool storage (e.g., 11-drawer roll cabinets, part number KRA5311FPBO) - Tool control foam inserts (e.g., FM1047177) - Etching services for tool identification (e.g., LASER12, up to 1,140 units) - Ratchets, sockets, extensions, adapters, universal joints, and bit sockets in various sizes and drive types - Wrenches (combination, box, open-end, adjustable, and specialty types) - Pliers (needle nose, diagonal cutters, slip joint, wire twist, and specialty aviation pliers) - Screwdrivers, bits, and mini picks - Punches, pry bars, hammers, and striking tools - Safety equipment (ear muffs, safety glasses) - Tool pouches, measuring tools, and miscellaneous hand tools - All items specified by Snap-on part numbers; quantities range from 4 to over 1,000 units per item - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only Snap-on manufactured components are acceptable (brand name only) - All tools and tool control systems must comply with Air Force tool control and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention standards - Large volume of custom tool etching for asset tracking - Detailed technical requirements and complete tool lists provided in attachments - No services or maintenance contracts are included; this is a supply-only procurement.

Description

This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation IAW RFO Part 12 procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and another written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to place a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date and prior to any contract award. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

This requirement is a supply contract for the procurement of Brand Name Snap-on Professional-Grade Mechanic's Tool Kits w/tools for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance. This acquisition complies with Air Force tool control and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards and is critical for maintaining operational readiness and flight safety.
