NOAA's National Weather Service is seeking HVAC preventative maintenance and emergency repair services for Weather Forecast Offices and Radar Data Acquisition sites in Albuquerque, NM; Santa Teresa, NM; and Midland, TX. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Western Acquisition Division - OEMs and Key Equipment: - Bard (packaged air conditioner units) - Marvair (packaged air conditioner units) - Trane (air handling and air conditioning units) - Magic Aire (computer room air conditioners) - Liebert (computer room air conditioners and condensing units) - Carrier (CRAC condensing units) - Perfect Aire (packaged terminal air conditioner units) - Products/Services Requested: - Preventative maintenance for a variety of HVAC equipment, including: - Bard PAC units (multiple models and quantities) - Marvair PAC units - Trane AHUs and ACUs - Magic Aire and Liebert CRAC units and condensing units - Carrier CRAC condensing units - Perfect Aire PTAC units - Annual extensive inspection and three standard inspections per year for each site - Unscheduled/emergency repair services with strict not-to-exceed limits and rapid response requirements - Notable Requirements: - 100% Small Business Set-aside - Emergency repairs require prior written government authorization and submission of diagnostic reports and firm-fixed-price quotes - Response times: same or next day for non-emergencies, within four hours for emergencies - Compliance with labor standards and detailed reporting after each inspection or repair - Contract includes a base year plus four option years, with a possible six-month extension
