The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking to procure a high-capacity water heater for its Wyoming facility. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19), Greenwood Village, Colorado - OEMs and Vendors: - Leslie (basis of design: Model E600L) - Approved equal manufacturers may also compete if their products meet or exceed the specified requirements - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) steam to hot water tankless single wall domestic water heater - Basis of design: Leslie Model E600L or approved equal - Must include an integral mechanical automatic blending valve (mechanical, not electronic) - Must maintain water temperature within +/- 3°F under all flow demands - Capable of using 10 PSIG steam to heat 55.5 gallons per minute of 35°F cold water to 140°F - Mounted on a heavy-duty angle iron frame - Water flows through tubes, steam in the shell - Steam input approximately 3,642 lb/hr - Unique/Notable Requirements: - No installation or removal of existing heater required - Mechanical (not electronic) temperature adjustment and blending - Product must be delivered within 30 days after contract award - Only one unit is being procured - "Approved equal" products are acceptable if they meet all technical specifications
