This notice announces the War Media Activity (WMA) Headquarters' intent to award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price contract to Wheatstone Corporation for support, configuration, and training services related to the Enterprise Radio Automation System (ERAS) and Audio over Internet Protocol (AoIP) systems. - The contract covers system integration, troubleshooting, verification, and operator/maintenance training, specifically to address requirements following a DISA-mandated Windows OS migration. - Wheatstone Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only authorized provider for these services; using third parties would void warranties and jeopardize support. - No specific product part numbers or quantities are listed, as the requirement is for specialized services on existing Wheatstone equipment and software. - The period of performance is a 7-month base period from September 24, 2026, through April 23, 2027. - The opportunity is not open for competition due to OEM restrictions and warranty requirements.
Description
This follow-on action adds support, configuration, and training services directly related to the original work. Wheatstone engineers will perform hands-on technical work using the same core technical skills (system configuration, troubleshooting, and verification) on the exact same equipment. All work remains strictly within the technical domain of Enterprise Radio Automation System (ERAS) and Audio over Internet Protocol (AOIPRS) support.
This effort specifically addresses complex system integration requirements related to a recent DISA-mandated Windows OS migration. The Contractor will evaluate existing setups, implement necessary configuration changes, and provide hands-on operator training for the ERAS and AoIP systems at the WMA headquarters facility in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Market research determined that Wheatstone Corporation is the only source capable of providing the required commissioning, support, and training for the WMA-owned Wheatstone hardware and software (originally established under contract HQ051626CE004). As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Wheatstone has confirmed there are no authorized third-party dealers permitted to provide this level of factory-direct training and technical configuration. Furthermore, procuring these services from any unauthorized vendor would explicitly void the existing warranties and jeopardize ongoing support for these critical systems.
