U.S. Space Force Solicitation for Portable Inflatable Planetarium System

The U.S. Space Force at Patrick Space Force Base is seeking a portable, inflatable planetarium system for educational and community outreach. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Space Force, Patrick Space Force Base, Space Launch Delta 45 - Products Requested: - Inflatable planetarium dome (minimum 5-meter diameter, ASTM F2374-24 compliant, handicap accessible, seating for 25 adults, emergency exits, ventilation) - Inflation blower system - Protective wheeled transport cases (2 units) - 4K resolution projector with fisheye lens for 360-degree video projection - Integrated or portable audio system - Control hardware (laptop or tablet, pre-configured) - Astronomy curriculum package (perpetual license or minimum 3 years of software updates) - Computer and software to support the system - Delivery of all items - Services Requested: - Vendor-provided training (system setup, operation, emergency procedures, teardown) - Technical support during standard business hours - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be TAA (Trade Agreements Act) and Buy American compliant - Must comply with NDAA Section 889 - Handicap accessibility and safety features required - Warranty coverage for at least 1 year - Curriculum software updates for a minimum of 3 years - Delivery required within 120 days of contract award - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Acquisition is set aside for Small Business

Description

The purpose of this acquisition is to provide for inflatable planetarium system to project 360-degree video content and astronomy curriculum to support community and educational outreach. Items must be TAA and Buy American compliant.
