The City of Bellevue Public Works Department is seeking proposals for citywide on-call electrician services to support minor repairs, maintenance, replacements, and installations across municipal facilities. - Scope of Work: - Includes electrical service panels, branch circuitry, breakers, switches, fixtures, and lighting systems - Work on motor control centers from major OEMs: - Siemens - Eaton - Square D - Generator system work involving: - Russ Electric switchgear - Westinghouse breakers (type DS) - Troubleshooting and modifying motor starting methods (frequency drives, soft-start, autotransformer, across-the-line) - Installation of new instrumentation (pressure transmitters, flow meters, ultrasonic technologies) - Extending circuits, general wiring, tenant improvement wiring, and demountable office furniture wiring - Limited repair activities with Remote Telemetry Units (RTU) - Unique Requirements: - Work may be performed at heights up to 100 feet, in confined spaces, and in Class 1, Division 1 hazardous areas - Vendors must provide documentation of training in high voltage splicing, confined space entry, and scissor lift operation - Strict adherence to safety requirements (PPE, Arc Flash gear, eye protection) - No specific quantities or part numbers are provided; services are on an as-needed, on-call basis.
