The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, Division of Forestry, is seeking bids for two new log loader trucks for forestry operations. - Government Buyer: - City of Columbus, Recreation and Parks Department, Division of Forestry - OEMs and Vendors: - Kenworth (T-880 cab and chassis or approved equal) - Cummins (engine) - Allison (automatic transmission) - Palfinger (M13A98 loader) - Heiden (Log and Pulp Grapple model HC20-A-2.5 or approved equal) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) log loader trucks, each including: - Kenworth T-880 cab and chassis or equivalent - Minimum 510 HP Cummins engine - Allison automatic transmission - Palfinger M13A98 loader - Heiden Log and Pulp Grapple model HC20-A-2.5 Bypass Grapple or equivalent - Additional features: LED loader lights, hydraulic tank, dual ladders, hydraulic plumbing, HardOx dump body, toolboxes, air hose reel, front frame extension with winch, rear light bar, pintle hitch, fully assembled and ready for use - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must be manufacturer-certified resellers or dealers - Must demonstrate experience and warranty service capability for forestry equipment - Warranty service must be provided by franchised OEM dealers with a minimum 12-month warranty - Delivery is FOB destination to the Division of Fleet Management in Columbus, Ohio - All equipment must be fully assembled and operational upon delivery - References and firm fixed pricing, including manufacturer warranty, are required
