Description

This program aims to document hateful rhetoric and violent acts against minority communities in South Africa, assess access to justice and law enforcement protection, and research widespread violence affecting minorities and the broader population. The implementing partner will conduct conflict-sensitive research and data collection to create a comprehensive record of violence affecting Afrikaner and other South African minority populations in line with international standards. The program will also develop recommendations to improve law enforcement to ensure equal protection. Eligible applicants include U.S.-based non-profits, institutions of higher education, for-profit organizations, foreign-based NGOs, and public international organizations.
