Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) received a timely petition for reinstatement of the terminated competitive oil and gas lease WYW179793 located in Converse County, Wyoming. The lessee has met all filing requirements and agreed to new lease terms including a rental rate of $20 per acre per year and a royalty rate of 16.67 percent. The BLM proposes to reinstate the lease subject to the original terms and conditions, amended lease notices, increased rental and royalty rates, and additional stipulations to protect historic trails. The lease reinstatement is proposed effective July 1, 2019, with a two-year extension from the date of reinstatement.
