Description
This requirement is a sole source follow-on production contract to an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022 (Authority of the Department of Defense to carry out certain prototype projects) DFARS 206.001-70 (Exception for prototype projects for follow-on production contracts). The incumbent from the OTA is SAAB Inc. (CAGE Code 1EG52). The agreement N666041890001/N666042493202 was competitively awarded through the Undersea Technology Innovation Consortium (UTIC) 23-01-003.This solicitation is to request a proposal from SAAB Inc. (CAGE Code 1EG52). to award a single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for MK 66 Mod 0 Heavyweight Undersea Training Targets (HUTT), engineering services for future upgrades and enhancements, and support equipment kits. The resultant contract will contain provisions for delivery and task orders to be awarded on a Firm Fixed price (FFP) basis. It is anticipated the single award IDIQ will have an ordering period from the date of contract through sixty (60) months after date of award.
