Description

The Rockland County Department of Mental Health seeks proposals from qualified organizations to establish, operate, and sustain four Naloxone vending machines and up to sixty Naloxboxes. This initiative, supported by Opioid Settlement Funds, aims to expand public access to Naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal medication, by providing free, 24/7 availability throughout Rockland County. The selected organization will be responsible for purchasing, installing, stocking, operating, monitoring, and maintaining these machines and kits. The contract will last five years with a maximum value of $435,000, starting around November 1, 2026.
