The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a statewide Master Agreement for crane rental and operator services at correctional institutions and facilities. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) - Division of Administrative Services, Office of Business Services, Contracts Management Branch - Products/Services Requested: - Rental and operation of cranes with certified operators for various crane sizes: - 14.5 Ton Crane (hydraulic boom) - 50 Ton Crane (hydraulic boom) - 80 Ton Crane (hydraulic boom) - 100 Ton Crane (hydraulic boom) - 120 Ton Crane (hydraulic boom) - Rigging services, including rigging charges and provision of chokers - Mobilization and demobilization (delivery, pickup, set-up, breakdown) - Overtime operation of cranes - As-needed, unforeseeable services up to 25% of total service rates - Quantities (estimated service events): - 14.5 Ton Crane: 32 - 50 Ton Crane: 32 - 80 Ton Crane: 24 - 100 Ton Crane: 16 - 120 Ton Crane: 16 - Rigging Charges: 36 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Services must be provided at 31 groups of CDCR locations statewide, including Correctional Construction Mentorship Programs (CCM) - Compliance with all licensing, safety, and security requirements, including background checks and PREA policies - Prevailing wage laws apply - All-inclusive rates (labor, equipment, materials, permits, taxes, fees) - Minimum 4-hour call-out on weekdays; possible weekend work - Services to be provided within 48 hours of request - Encouragement of participation from small, disadvantaged, and disabled veteran businesses - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; bidders may propose cranes from any manufacturer meeting requirements.

Description

This solicitation is for a Master Agreement to provide Crane Rental and Operator Services to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) at various locations statewide. The contractor will be compensated based on rates specified in Exhibit B-1, which include all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, permits, and other necessary expenses. Bidders may bid on one or more locations or groups but must provide rates for all items within those locations. The contract includes provisions for as-needed services and requires compliance with prevailing wage determinations.
