The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified construction firms for the renovation of the Aaron Davis Hall Theater at City College of New York (CCNY). - Government Buyer: Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), Construction / Construction Contracts division - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Project Scope: - Renovation of Aaron Davis Hall to create state-of-the-art performance facilities - ADA compliance improvements - Construction of a new lobby - Installation of new lighting and sound systems - Demolition of existing structures - Asbestos and mold abatement - Construction of new walls, installation of structural steel, concrete, ceilings, bathrooms, and seating - Upgrades to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems - Submission Requirements: - Detailed qualification packages including company profile, relevant experience, project schedules, safety program, key personnel résumés, list of potential subcontractors (with MWBE participation), anticipated workload, insurance and bonding capacity, and a NYS Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire - Execution of a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) by the successful bidder; all subcontractors must also agree to the PLA - Compliance with workforce and participation goals for EEO, M/WBE, and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses - Only shortlisted, qualified firms will be invited to submit bids after evaluation of EOIs

Description

This solicitation is for expressions of interest (EOI) only for the renovation of the existing Aaron Davis Hall Theater at CCNY. The project includes upgrades to create new state-of-the-art performance facilities, ADA upgrades, a new lobby, improved lighting and sound, demolition, asbestos and mold abatement, new walls, structural steel, concrete, ceilings, bathrooms, seating, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work as required. The successful low bidder must execute a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Bidders will be selected after review and evaluation of qualification packages. Final construction/bid documents will be distributed to qualified contractors invited to bid.
