Orange County, NY is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for water, sewer, and wastewater treatment systems at multiple county facilities. - Government Buyer: - County of Orange, Department of General Services - Office of the Commissioner, Renee Arnold-ORegan - Scope of Services: - Ongoing operation and maintenance of water, sewer, and wastewater treatment systems at: - Orange County Correctional Facility - Valley View Center (current and future plants) - Emergency Services Center - Fire Training Center - Medical Examiners Facility - Routine maintenance, testing, monitoring, reporting, and emergency response - Water/wastewater testing for a range of contaminants (e.g., E. Coliform, Total Coliform, Trihalomethanes, Lead, Copper, Nitrate, BOD5, TSS, etc.) - Staffing and Certification Requirements: - Certified operators required: NYSDEC Class C, Class D, Grade 3, and 3A WWTP Certification (for future Valley View plant) - OSHA training in PPE, confined spaces, lockout/tagout, bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous communications - Proof of NY State Department of Labor registration and at least three years of relevant experience - Contract Structure: - Initial two-year term with two optional two-year renewals - County may extend contract for up to two months unilaterally (or three months with vendor agreement) - Pricing includes monthly service rates, testing fees, and parts markup/discount - Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with labor laws and prevailing wage - Detailed staff training and licensing documentation required - No specific OEMs or product part numbers specified; procurement is for services only
