Description
The Horticultural Society of New York is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction and installation services for the Green the Garment District project. The project involves improving and expanding green infrastructure in the Garment District through the installation of approximately 71 new street trees and large shrubs, remediation of about 165 tree pits, installation of around 60 planters and 30 tree guards, and pruning of existing trees. Work will be coordinated with NYC Parks and NYC DOT and is scheduled through October 2029. The estimated construction budget is not to exceed $174,700, with a 30% MWBE participation goal.
