NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka in Sasebo, Japan is seeking competitive proposals for structural repair and preservation services for the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47): - Government Buyer: - NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka, Sasebo Office - Scope of Work: - Structural repair and preservation of the stern gate operation room No.2 (3-138-2-Q) - Structural repair on the transom (ELM-245219 Item 10-2) - Replacement of the stern gate rubber gasket - Eligibility Requirements: - Only contractors authorized to operate and do business in Japan (per DFARS 225.1103 (3) and 252.225-7042) - Offerors must have an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan, or agree to execute one before award - Access to solicitation attachments is restricted to eligible MSRA/ABR holders in Japan - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable Requirements: - Work must be performed in Sasebo, Japan - Focus on U.S. Navy ship (USS RUSHMORE) structural and preservation needs

Description

The work is to be performed in “SASEBO”, JAPAN.

This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in “JAPAN”, as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3), 252.225-7042.

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site “ SASEBO ” intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) STERN GATE OPERATION ROOM NO.2 (3-138-2-Q); PRESERVE, ELM-245219 ITEM 10-2 STRUCTURAL REPAIR ON TRANSOM; ACCOMPLISH, STERN GATE RUBBER GASKET; REPLACE to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in “Japan”. Please ensure that your company meets these criteria and provides any necessary documentation to demonstrate your authorization to perform this work in “ Japan “.

Contractors located OUTSIDE Japan that do NOT unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will NOT be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do NOT possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan region, or does NOT agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will NOT be eligible to receive an award.  Access to Attachments: Attachments are Restricted/CUI and accessible only to authorized 

MSRA/ABR holders in Japan. Eligible holders who cannot access the files should contact the Contract Specialist directly via email. Access requests from non-eligible sources will be rejected.
