Shasta County is inviting proposals from qualified affordable housing developers for funding to support new and rehabilitated affordable housing projects. - Government Buyer: - County of Shasta, Department of Support Services, Purchasing Unit - Scope of Work: - Funding available for predevelopment, development, acquisition, rehabilitation, and preservation of at least four units of affordable rental and ownership housing - Includes Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) - Projects must serve households earning up to 120% of Area Median Income (AMI), with priority for workforce housing (80%-120% AMI) - Projects must be located in Shasta County, outside the City of Redding (unless Redding projects have already secured City PLHA funds) - City of Shasta Lake will only approve owner-occupied rehabilitation projects - Funding Details: - Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) funds provided as deferred low-interest loans - 55-year affordability period required - Eligibility & Requirements: - Developers must demonstrate site control - Proposals must be complete and show relevant experience and compliance - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in this opportunity

This solicitation is for affordable housing development and owner-occupied rehabilitation projects within Shasta County, California, outside of Redding limits with some exceptions.
