Aman Builders Inc. on behalf of Alberta Infrastructure Tender Package 3 involves the last phase of planning a major renovation and expansion of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD) at Grey Nuns Community Hospital. The project includes phased renovation and expansion of the existing MDRD to support increased processing capacity, improved workflow efficiencies, and modernization of equipment and infrastructure. Work includes demolition of existing architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process systems; construction of new clean and soiled processing areas; installation of new sterilization and reprocessing equipment; modifications to plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, process piping, electrical distribution, communications, security, and life safety systems; and associated structural and architectural upgrades.
