Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on navigable waters of Lake Erie within a 400-foot radius of a specified position in Madison Township, Ohio. This safety zone is to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards associated with an over-water fireworks display scheduled for August 8, 2026. Entry into the zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on August 8, 2026.
