Oregon State University, in partnership with the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), is seeking to procure two Soil Seedbank Elutriators for high-throughput weed seed extraction from soil samples. - Government Buyer: - Oregon State University, Columbia Basin Agricultural Research Center, Crop Science Building - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - Products Requested: - Two (2) Soil Seedbank Elutriators - Each unit must process 48 samples simultaneously - Must include at least 96 fine mesh strainers (mesh size 50) - Rinse device and 100L collection tank required - Units must be mobile (wheels included) - Warranty, delivery, and installation included - Product Details: - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified - Place of manufacture information required for all items - Notable Requirements: - Delivery required within 60–90 days after order/award - Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror with acceptable or neutral past performance - Compliance with Federal anti-discrimination laws is mandatory

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1209 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Two (2) Soil Seedbank Elutriators per Attachment 2 Specifications.

This acquisition  is not set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111. This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
