The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Socorro Field Office, is seeking contractors for the SFO Buck Fire BAER Fence project to repair, reconstruct, and install livestock fencing in the Pelona Mountain Area, New Mexico. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Socorro Field Office, BLM FA-NTL INTRAGCY FIRE CTR (FA250) - Contracting Officer: Jonathan Peterson - Scope of Work: - Repair and reconstruction of 6 miles of livestock fence damaged by wildfire - Remove and replace 2 miles (10,560 linear feet) of 4-wire fence - Repair and maintain approximately 4 miles (21,120 linear feet) of 4-wire fence - Install and repair gates, stress panels, corner panels, end panels, and drainage crossing water-gaps - Contractor must furnish all materials and labor - Products and Materials Requested: - Galvanized barbed and barbless wire (12 1/2-gauge, 14-gauge barbs) - Steel T posts, steel pipe posts (schedule 40 or better), angle iron posts and braces - Wire fasteners, staples, grout, and lead-free green paint - Wire fence stays, brace wires, miscellaneous wire for gate loops - Wire gates with wood stays (minimum 16 feet wide) - Services Requested: - Complete fence installation and construction, including post setting, wire stretching, gate installation, and brace wire tightening - Minimal vegetation disturbance; access by foot or pack animals required - All work to be completed within 90 days of Notice to Proceed - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must meet specified strength, coating, and dimension standards - Project is set aside for small businesses under NAICS 238990 - Inspections by BLM personnel; work must be performed during regular business hours - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brand names are mentioned; materials must meet detailed specifications
