Description

The City of Santa Maria is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide bicycle and pedestrian safety education, outreach, and community engagement services. The scope includes implementing bicycle safety education and training programs at participating schools, conducting community bicycle rides and pedestrian safety activities, participating in traffic safety campaigns and community events, distributing bicycle helmets and safety materials, conducting helmet usage surveys, collaborating with local safety stakeholders, coordinating grant-related public outreach, and providing all required program reporting and grant compliance activities in accordance with Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) requirements. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's PlanetBids eProcurement Portal by August 28, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
