Description

The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE), Environmental Management Division (EMD) is seeking a consultant to provide installation of a new retaining structure and associated roadway improvements near 8255 Vista Del Mar. The retaining structure will consist of a steel soldier pile and precast concrete lagging panel bulkhead approximately 258 feet in length and up to 11 feet in height. The project aims to address roadway distress caused by settlement and creep of underlying subgrade materials, which has damaged the roadway and poses a risk to public safety. The improvements will restore lateral support to the roadway, stabilize the adjacent slope, maintain safe access, and protect public infrastructure from further erosion and failure.
