The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) intends to award a contract for a five-year term, with options to extend for two additional one-year terms, for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Equipment, its services, and consumables at the Royal University Hospital Lab in Saskatoon. The contract is proposed to be awarded to Illumina Inc. However, other suppliers are invited to submit statements of capabilities by August 31, 2026, to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements. If other capable suppliers are identified, a further competitive process may be conducted. The equipment must support a broad range of genomic applications, be compatible with existing assays and software, and meet specific technical and operational criteria.
