NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is seeking temporary, rapidly deployable security solutions to support the Quesst mission's sonic boom field measurements. - Sole source procurement is intended for LIVEVIEW TECHNOLOGIES INC (LVT) - Requirement is for two Mobile Security Units (MSUs) with: - Video surveillance - Intrusion detection - Remote monitoring and real-time notification - Wireless communications - MSUs will protect up to 125 ground recording systems and assets in remote locations - Contractor must provide: - Equipment, installation, activation - Monitoring, maintenance, and technical support - Shipping, setup, and retrieval of MSUs - NAICS code: 561621 (Security Systems Services) - Period of performance is one year from contract award - NASA is accepting capability statements from interested vendors, but has identified LVT as the sole provider

Description

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for NASA LVT Security for Sonic Boom Field Measurements. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to LIVEVIEW TECHNOLOGIES INC, 802 E 1050 S STE 300, American Fork, Utah 84003-4734 under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that LIVEVIEW TECHNOLOGIES INC is the sole provider of NASA LVT Security for Sonic Boom Field Measurements NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561621. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 8/10/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
