NASA Glenn Research Center seeks Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Software Subscriptions (Sole Source)

NASA's Glenn Research Center, through the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), is seeking to procure a sole source subscription for Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+ software. - The procurement is for two annual, on-premises floating user subscriptions of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Power Session (part number STAR1002) and Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Power Session Plus (part number STAR2040). - Each subscription includes standard support and is billed annually in advance. - The period of performance is from September 16, 2026, to September 15, 2027 (12 months). - Siemens Industry Software Inc. is the OEM and intended sole source vendor. - The software will be used for advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer modeling at NASA Glenn Research Center. - The procurement is being conducted under FAR 12.102(a) as a commercial item acquisition, with NAICS code 513210. - NASA is seeking responses to determine if there are other sources capable of providing the required software, which may affect whether the procurement remains sole source or becomes competitive. - No set-aside for small business or other categories is specified.
