Description

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for herbicide treatments to be applied to Berberis thunbergii (Asiatic Barberry) within Letchworth State Park. The targeted area, Bishop Woods, is an Appalachian Oak-Hickory Forest with a seven-acre barberry infestation covering 40-70% of the area, spread over a 10-acre plot. Applicators must be certified by NYSDEC as Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicators (CCPA), with Certified Commercial Pesticide Technicians (CCPT) allowed to apply herbicide only under CCPA supervision.
