THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.  The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking additional sources of  “Interconnection Box, Fiber Optic, Metric, General Specification for” MIL-PRF-24628/1 - /13 for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 24728; specifically government designations M24728/1-005, M24728/1-006, M24728/2-005, M24728/3-001, M24728/3-004, M24728/4-001, M24728/4-002, M24728/5-001, M24728/5-002, M24728/6-001, M24728/7-001, M24728/9-01, M24728/10-01, M24728/11-01, M24728/12-01, M24728/12-02, M24728/13-01, M24728/13-02.  MIL-PRF-24728B (1) is available in ASSIST at https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the “Document Number” search box and the keyword “24728”. 

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.  With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products which are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-24728 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date.  The attention of the contractors is called to these requirements, and manufacturers are urged to arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-PRF-24728B (1).  Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for qualification by NAVSEA are available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).  The SD-6 is available in ASSIST at https://quicksearch.dla.mil/.  Additional information and questions pertaining to qualification of products to MIL-PRF-24728B (1) may be obtained from CommandStandards@navy.mil.
