1. This pre-solicitaion notice is in accordance with RFO 5.101(c). This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Government is not soliciting quotes or proposals at this time.

2. Description:

Travis Air Force Base 60th Forward Support Squadron requires HEAD ski and snowboard equipment, in support of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation base services. Specific information can be found in Attachment 1 SOW.

3. Procedures for Award:

The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The award basis is anticipated to include Technical and Price. The Government anticipate to award on or about 04 Sep 2026.

The intended source is HEAD because 60 FSS personnel are trained and certified in HEAD equipment and 60 FSS in-house repair facility is built to support this equipment. 60 FSS requires the direct warranty support which buying from manufacturer provides.
