WHEN: Wednesday, 12 Aug, 1000-1200; one hour briefing, one hour of engagement/ questions/ networking
WHY: The Air Force, with US Army Corps of Engineers as their Agent, are working to construct multiple new facilities as part of fighter recapitalization requirements for their mission with a commitment to use the new authorities outlined in the FY26 NDAA, including use of Progressive Design Build and Other Transactional Authorities to produce new capabilities over the next several years. Since a large amount of the contractor base in Alaska are from the Pacific Northwest, this meeting is to signal our joint intent with this multi-billion-dollar program, and to partner with industry on how to move forward on this Nationally significant endeavor.
