The USDA Forest Service, Fishlake National Forest, Fremont River Ranger District, Teasdale Office is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for its Teasdale, Utah facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Fishlake National Forest, Fremont River Ranger District, Teasdale Office - Services Requested: - Comprehensive janitorial services for approximately 2,060 sq ft of office and storage space - Tasks include: - Twice-weekly cleaning of restrooms and general office areas (Wednesdays and Saturdays) - Weekly dusting and vacuuming - Monthly cleaning of wastepaper receptacles - Quarterly window and blind cleaning - Bathroom cleaning, waste removal, vacuuming, mopping, and other janitorial tasks - Contractor must provide qualified personnel, maintain security protocols, and adhere to strict quality assurance standards - Government will furnish cleaning supplies; contractor provides labor and supervision - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods and a possible six-month extension (up to 5.5 years total) - Services performed on a recurring schedule as specified - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict quality assurance with inspections by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) - Contractor credentialing and training requirements - Small business set-aside under NAICS 561720 (Janitorial Services) - No specific OEMs, products, or part numbers are referenced - No products or equipment procurement is included; this is a service-only contract

Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, Fishlake National Forest, Fremont River Ranger District, Teasdale Office has a need for janitorial services.

Site Visit – Attendance is not mandatory; however, prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to be present.

A site visit is scheduled for August 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM Mountain Time. Interested vendors will meet the COR at the Teasdale Office located at 138 East Center, Teasdale, UT 84773-9701 at the scheduled time. Vendors are not required to submit any information to attend the site visit, but they will be asked to fill out an attendance sheet (Company Name, Employee Name, Phone Number, and Email Address), which will be posted in the question-and-answer amendment.

Questions shall be submitted via email to arlen.fausett@usda.gov and are due no later than August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM Mountain Time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email.
