Residential Meal Delivery Services
The Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), Indian Health Service (IHS), is issuing this Sources Sought Notice for informational and planning purposes only. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research to determine whether the requirement can be met through a small business set-aside, including consideration of Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) and other socioeconomic small business programs.
Purpose
The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified sources capable of providing residential meal preparation and delivery services and to determine the availability of small businesses that can meet the Government's requirements.
This is a Sources Sought Notice (Request for Information) only. It is not a solicitation for proposals, quotations, or offers.
Requirement
The anticipated requirement includes, but is not limited to, the following:
NAICS Code: 722310
NAICS Description: Food Service Contractors
Interested vendors proposing an alternate NAICS code shall provide a detailed explanation demonstrating how the proposed NAICS code more accurately represents the principal purpose of this requirement.
The contractor shall provide residential meal preparation, packaging, and delivery services for eligible residential program participants.
The anticipated requirement includes:
Preparation and delivery of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal delivery for residents assigned to: Tier 1: Four (4) days per week. Tier 2: Seven (7) days per week. Accommodation of approved medical, religious, cultural, and other dietary restrictions as identified by the Government. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, tribal, and local food safety and sanitation regulations. Delivery of meals to Government-designated residential locations.
The anticipated ordering period is one (1) base year with four (4) one-year option periods.

Experience providing residential, institutional, or congregate meal services. Ability to prepare and deliver three meals per day. Experience accommodating special dietary requirements. Food safety certifications and applicable licenses. Experience performing similar services for federal, tribal, state, or local government agencies. At least two recent examples of contracts of similar size and scope.
5. ISBEE Representation
If applicable, complete and submit the current Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Representation Form.
Response Information
Responses will be used solely for market research and acquisition planning purposes.
This notice does not constitute a solicitation, and the Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing a response.
Respondents must respond separately to any future solicitation that may be issued.
