Shared Services Canada (SSC), through its Connectivity and Security Services Branch, is seeking industry input for a future procurement of an enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solution to modernize and standardize government network infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - Shared Services Canada (SSC), Connectivity and Security Services Branch (CSSB) - Also referenced as Services partagés Canada (SPC), Direction générale des services de connectivité et de sécurité (DGSCS) - Products/Services Requested: - Enterprise-grade DDI hardware appliances and software licenses for deployments ranging from small (2,000 endpoints) to large-scale (up to 1,000,000 endpoints and 2.5 million IP addresses) - Appliances must support DNS, DHCP, and IPAM functions, with options for single, multi-network, and enterprise-wide deployments - Integration with Microsoft Active Directory and support for both IPv4 and IPv6 - High availability, hardware redundancy, modular integration, and centralized web management - Advanced security features, DNSSEC, API access, Ansible automation, CLI and CSV bulk operations - Multilingual management interface and strict accessibility compliance (EN 301 549) - OEM-delivered five-year maintenance and support, including technical support, firmware/software updates, documentation, and advance hardware replacement - Instructor-led virtual training for operational staff, including installation, configuration, migration, and management, with practical exercises and training materials - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Solution must be scalable for various deployment sizes and support both physical and virtual appliances - Must provide perpetual licensing options - Training must be virtual, instructor-led, and scalable for groups of 12-20, lasting at least five days - Accessibility and security compliance are mandatory - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the RFI is open to all industry input - Quantities and Capacities: - Appliances and licenses for deployments supporting from 2,000 to 1,000,000 client endpoints - Management of 5,000 to 2,500,000 IP addresses - Performance metrics for appliances: up to 250,000 DNS requests/sec, 5,000 DHCP leases/sec, and 40,000 ENUM requests/sec - Period of Performance: - Five-year firm contract with options for up to five additional one-year extensions - Maintenance and support required for five years, with annual renewal options

Shared Services Canada (SSC) is seeking industry feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) to support the development of a future procurement for an enterprise Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM) (DDI) solution. The objective is to establish a standardized, secure, and scalable enterprise DDI platform that will modernize and consolidate the Government of Canada's core network infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, enhance security, and support long-term network modernization initiatives. This RFI is for information-gathering purposes only and is not a bid solicitation. SSC anticipates that any subsequent solicitation may result in the award of one contract with a five-year initial term and options to extend for up to five additional one-year periods.
