The U.S. Embassy Bogota, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking a qualified contractor for a comprehensive asphalt repair and replacement project on its compound perimeter path. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Embassy Bogota, Facility Management Office (FMO) - Scope of Work: - Demolition and removal of approximately 2,600 m2 of existing asphalt surface - Subgrade stabilization using granular material B-400, including priming and backfill - Installation of new high-density asphalt pavement (MDC-3 or B-1350), 3-5 cm thick, over 2,600 m2 - Application of track markings and lines with traffic paint compatible with asphalt - Complete site cleanup and adherence to strict safety, security, and environmental requirements - Key Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment - Key personnel must include a civil engineer with at least 3 years of asphalt experience - Detailed project schedule and compliance with insurance and safety obligations are mandatory - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; the focus is on construction materials and services meeting specified standards - Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer; quotations must be in English and complete
Description
Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Compound Perimeter Path Asphalt repair.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
Site visit will be held on August 14, 2026 at 09:00, if you are interested in participating send an e-mail to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov with complete information of your company representatives before August 6, 2026 including the names and ID representative (just one per company)
Question will be received before August 18 ,2026 at 4:00 Pm to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov. Quotations are due by August 27, 2026 at 16:00 hours. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
