The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is seeking a contractor to provide a complete courtesy dock solution at Poe’s Ridge Boat Ramp in Moncure, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, B. Everett Jordan Dam and Lake office - Products and Services Requested: - Supply, delivery, and installation of a new courtesy dock and gangway - 4'x40' ADA-compliant gangway with skid-resistant aluminum decking and continuous handrails - Minimum 224 sq ft dock (at least 12' wide x 20' long) with marine-grade aluminum frame, channel gussets, and backing plates - Skid-resistant aluminum decking, freeboard 16-20 inches - Pre-molded high-density polyethylene flotation units with foamed-in-place polystyrene - Eight aluminum or stainless-steel cleats, continuous rubrail with bumpers - Cable and winch anchoring system (2000 lbs capacity winches, 5/16" Type 316 stainless steel cables) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Dock must support a 40 psf live load - All hardware must be Type 316 stainless steel - Gangway must be fully ADA-compliant - One-year warranty on workmanship and materials; five-year warranty on flotation and decking - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All technical and performance requirements are detailed in the Statement of Work
